I am busier than this

My days consist of a number of things. Today one of those things is biting back deliciously dark cold coffee. Nobody should enjoy such a bitter tasting drink as much as I do. I have been sorting and stacking writings pertaining to the subjects I have been commissioned to teach at the School. There is an underlying feeling that a willed, albeit threatened through gritted teeth, osmosis allows me to garner and gather knowledge through the brief grazing of skin on paper. Like a magnet for fruit I am able to pluck the ripe and succulent harvest of Knowing How from the text alone. This is not real, but the confidence I gain through this act is. "I am a teacher" is a frighteningly boisterous statement. I usually commit to it under a muffled breath. The said confidence is gathering within me like a twinkling crescendo, which is enough.

Shelter is one of the three requirements (yes, there are only three) for human survival. Like skittering hermit crabs Julia and I are abandoning our present shelter and seeking larger accommodations. However, this larger accommodation has not been presented to us just yet. Please pray that it will be revealed soon. Scurrying about, sans shell, is not nearly as fun as it sounds. This also creates an antsy stress, which IS as uncomfortable as it sounds, when we try to plan for the illustriously iniquitous Month, September.

Summer is a wonderful season. I do hope that one day it will regain the romance it once held. The romance of freedom, undefiled by money making obligations or stomach churning uncertainties. I wish this for everyone. Except of course those of you who operate theatres, cafes, water parks, ice cream parlours, roller coaster rides, and campgrounds. You keep on doing whatever you have to do.

you are correct. nobody should enjoy such a bitter tasting drink as much as you do. ...and yet, you won't eat strawberries or any fruit that's "too tart!" ooooh, it is fun to make fun of you on the internet!

and yes, i do believe that summer will regain it's romance again for you, Mr. Teacher. i am very jealous.
